We started off the year in 5th grade Art with drawing this mannequin in our sketchbooks using
gesture lines. Students created 3 minute, 2 minute, AND 1 minute drawings, which was VERY challenging! After our timed drawings were completed, we took a marker and found the
contour line around the edge of our drawings, which emphasizes the
shape of the figure. They did a FANTASTIC job!
